Proposals are solicited for Workshops to be held as part of the Industrial Conference on Data Mining, Leipzig, Germany. Workshops can be ½ or 1 day long.

Workshop Proposals

Appropriate subjects for workshops include all aspects of Data Mining. The main criteria for workshop selection will be the topic appeal to a large enough section of the community and the expected quality of program to warrant a successfully organized workshop. The workshop proceedings will appear on the conference as IBaI report and will be indexed by the scientific library in Hannover. Registration to workshops will be either only for the workshops or for the whole conference plus additional 50 Euro. Rooms, coffee breaks and audio visual equipment will be taken care of by the main conference.

To propose a workshop please send a PDF file to Ingrid Neuhaeuser at info@data-mining-forum.de including the following information:

1. Title/Topic and a sample call for papers.
2. Names and e-mails of all organizers.
3. Proposed duration of the workshops and preferred date.
4. Preliminary program committee.
5. Tentative submission deadlines.
6. Estimated number of submissions and acceptance rate.
7. Estimated breakdown between number of orals, posters and invited papers.
8. Estimated attendance.
9. Special requirements for space or equipment, if needed.
10. Brief paragraph justifying the workshop, including its relationship to previous workshops, if appropriate.
